Online Gate Pass Management System using PHP (AppGini) with Source Code

This is an Online Gate Pass Management System. With this, management of visitors and activities at the gate of an organisation or institution is absolutely easy. This system will help the organization or institution to log the purposes and to whom the visitor has an appointment or transaction, by this, if any instances may occur that requires some information from the organization or institution visitors, they can easily retrieve the data/information that are recorded in the system database.

Features

You can register gate guards as the admin who will be managing different gates.
Management of visitors, individual visitors and group visitors.
You can keep track of the entry and exit times of all visitors including staff.
You can register staff members also into the system.
Capture vehicle details.
Capture luggage details.
Approve or disapprove visitors from getting into the gate and provide reasons why.
An intuitive dashboard that gives you detailed information about the data in the system.
Print reports and any information from the system for further reference.

You can run complex queries on all data sets to get specific information at a click of a button. Management and record keeping of gate pass details is very easy as the system uses a central database to keep details of different gates of the same institution.

How to Run

Download and Extract the source code zip file.
Open the Control Panel of your XAMPP or WAMP and start the "Apache" and "MySQL"
Copy the extracted folder. If your are using XAMPP, locate the "htdocs" folder inside the xampp's folder and paste the source code folder. If you are using WAMP, paste the it inside "www" folder.
Open the PHPMyAdmin in a web browser. [http://ocalhost/phpmyadmin]
Create a new database naming "gpms_db".
Import the SQL file located inside the INSTALL folder in the source code folder.
Browse the project in a web browser. ex: http://localhost/gpmsproject
