Download Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2012

By default, Visual Studio doesn’t come with Crystal Reports. Microsoft has now its own reporting tool with an .rdlc extension. In order to use Crystal Reports for Visual Studio, you need to download it from SAP’s website. Crystal Reports is now called "SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio";. You can also download it directly here: http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_13_0_5.exe The current version as at the time of this writing is 13.0.5. You may need to visit the link above to get the latest release.

I installed CRforVS_13_0_2.exe and then CRRuntime_64bit_13_0_5.msi. I am using Windows 8 (64 bit) OS. When i am trying to run the application i am an error "Bobj is undefined" I googled but error is not yet resolved. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Vinay, You can not run crystal reports under ISS Express which is the default development tool used by Visual studio. Once you have installed the Crystal Development package, you must Install IIS on your local machine and run your development website through IIS. there are many tutorials and walkthroughs on the msdn website to help you migrate to normal IIS. Hi, installed perfectly in VS2012. I was wondering if you know some nice tutorial in VB2012. Gets the info from the database and outputs it into some form. I'm really new into Crystal Reports. Thanks!

Crystal report not working VS 2012 and 2013 but you can use SSRS reporting service with VS 2010,2012,2013 its compatable all vs version please install and used SQL reporting service its replica to crystal report.
