The communication types have come a long way from sending short message service to multimedia message service up to comments in social media specifically Facebook. It did not stop there. The chat box has also become a communication phenomenon most especially with Facebook's Messenger application hitting the surface.
Upgrades continue until it reached the video calling. In video calling, you can talk face-to-face to another person despite the presence of place distance.
Through the front cameras in mobile phones or the web cameras in laptops, talking while seeing real-time your loved ones abroad has become possible.
Apple, Microsoft and Facebook has reached the pedestal of video calling and users love the latest mode of communication.
In a recent report in Inquirer, Google too has made video calling possible for phones with Google's Android operating system.
The application's name is Duo and it has almost the same features with other video calling applications. The slight difference is that it prompts the caller with its 'Knock, Knock' feature and the receiver can choose whether to accept it or not.
