Microsoft to Pay Developers $100,000 for Windows Phone App

Microsoft made a enormous offers which will pay up to $100,000 to developers to port popular apps to Windows Phone 8. The well-supported rumors started through a report in Bloomberg Businessweek's Technology section by Ashlee Vance.
According to Ashlee Vance the source of the rumor came from "Silicon Valley friends." It was also confirmed by two sources contacted by Business Insider, the rumors was not refuted by Microsoft.
We have also reported earlier that Windows offered $100 up to $2000 per developer for any apps published in the Windows App Store.
The program incentive by Microsoft Windows dubbed as Keep The Cash Offer runs until June 30th was only open to US developers.
Although the offer is open only to US developers and the "cash" is Virtual VISA credit. Right after the news was reported, some technology writer made negative comments, even stating that the offer was an insult and made the platform look like a joke.
Bloomberg have also reported that Microsoft now has 48 of the top 50 most downloaded apps in the market today but it is still a long way to go to catch up with Apple and Android. Currently Windows Phone apps has a total of 145,000 apps.
