Microsoft Confirmed Phasing Out of XNA But DirectX is OK

Microsoft have already confirmed that they have already phased out their Direct X Programs but clarifies that XNA is up and running. According to Promit Roy, the technical lead at the Action Equals Equation Labs, the man who made the first email public announcing that Microsoft Phases our XNA and DirectX. Rumors have already spread among the developers that the DirectX is no longer evolving a technology but it is definitely not true. Microsoft is investing in DirectX as the unified graphics foundation for their key platforms such as Xbox 360, Windows Phone and Windows. The DirectX is still evolving and continues to evolve as a matter of fact, right now Microsoft is investing in some very cool graphics code authorizing technology in Visual Studio. Some rumors also includes that real status of XNA Studio which is isn't 100% clear that is being phased out for it is still a supported toolset but there's no further versions will be produced. The announcement of Microsoft which was unclear at first really hurts the programming community as the company did not thought for the time and effort of the programmers who have put into learning it and working with it.
