Hyundai Verna Launches In China

The new Hyundai Verna Launch The new Hyundai car was showcased in the most influential auto show in western China, the 2016 Chengdu Auto Show. The new updated car of Hyundai Verna was introduced to the people. The Verna is made in China by the long-running Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. The newly launched car is a small sedan developed for emerging markets. Looking like a shrunken version of the successful Elantra, the current Verna was reportedly the cheapest sedan in the lineup with the price range of 73,900 to 106,900 yuan ($11,000 – 16,000). The car features a sharply cut body with a trendy hexagonal grille and LED lights. According to a report, the new car will launch first on the Chinese market in October and in the rest of the world in early 2017. The new car brings good news to everybody who wished to own a car as it is reportedly affordable. Hyundai designed the car by adding some hip with a racy spoiler that is fully integrated into the boot lid. Furthermore, Hyundai Verna has an infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay. According to a report, the current generation of cars was manufactured in several countries, including India, Russia, and China. The new Verna will be launched on the Chinese car market in October, powered by a 100 hp 1.4 or a 123hp 1.6. Despite the Hyundai Verna’s main competitors are the Honda City, the Changan Eado, the Volkswagen Jetta, and the K2, Verna’s sister model at Kia. It will attract the consumers in the market as it will be slightly cheaper than the outgoing car with prices expected to start around 70,000 yuan.
