Point of Sale System using VB.NET and Microsoft Access with Source Code

This point of sale system supports Barcode on sales transactions. It has a user-friendly interface that a user can understand. I'm using Microsoft Access as a backend database.

About

The Point of Sale System using the VB.NET is a project that can help a certain store to their daily sales transaction. This system stores the list of products. The system has also a minimum scope of inventory features so that the store management or the system user can monitor their stocks. Talking about the sale transaction, the system has user-friendly features to manage the source code and also has a visible and readable interface. This system also generates sales receipts for every transaction.

The features of this system are the following:

Using barcode for the sales transaction
add, edit, delete the product
Generate reports
Search product
Shortcut button
and many more

How to run

Download and Install Microsoft Visual Studio.
Download and Install Microsoft Office / Microsft Access Database Engine.
Download and Extract the zip file. (download button is located below this article).
Locate the "POS.sln" file in the source code folder.
Open the solution (".sln") file with your Visual Studio software.
Press "F5" key on your keyboard to run the project.

Admin Password: Admin
Unlock Password: 12345

AUTONUMBER

Hi I have a problem with my autonumber field specifically the sales id. Everytime I add a new item there is always a negative 1 (-1) that appears inside the textbox. How are you able to remove it and show the latest number of record instead? Salamat!

POS App

Probably a good app. BUT, no documentation, the authors video has poor English and way too fast to understand. Includes a database but no information about that or how to create the DB settings. When the program is shown running in the video, the settings have already been set up but no way to run the app without adding the settings, and no cleay way of adding the settings without running the app!!! Pity, looked like a promising program.
