  10.                         <a class="navbar-brand" href="https://sourcecodester.com">Sourcecodester</a>
  11.                 </div>
  12.         </nav>
  13.         <div class="col-md-3"></div>
  14.         <div class="col-md-6 well">
  15.                 <h3 class="text-primary">Auto Count Words Using PHP</h3>
  16.                 <hr style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"/>
  17.                 <div class="col-md-8">
  18.                         <form method="POST" action="">
  19.                                 <label>Enter a String</label>
  20.                                 <div class="form-group">
  21.                                         <textarea class="form-control" required="required" style="resize:none; height:100px;" name="words"></textarea>
  22.                                 </div>
  23.                                 <button class="btn btn-primary" name="count">Count</button>
  24.                         </form>
  25.
  26.                         <?php include'function.php'?>
  27.                 </div>
  28.         </div>
  29. </body>
  30. </html>

  4.                 function countWords($string) {
  5.                         $string = preg_replace('/\s+/', ' ', trim($string));
  6.                         $words = explode(" ", $string);
  7.                         return count($words);
  8.                 }
  9.
  10.
