Simple Student Information System using PHP with Source Code

This is a simple PHP Web application entitled Simple Student Information System. This project will help you learn a simple way in developing an Information System using PHP Language. This simple information system allow the students to register and input their informations. The student can also see the details of other students by searching them. The system uses Bootstrap Framwork for the design of this web application to give the end-users/students a better experience while using it. Search box has a suggestion box list with the help of jQuery Library. The suggestion box list the students that names are likely similar to characters entered in the search box. The web application's template is a Responsive which means the design of this simple project will automatically adjust in any size of screen especially in mobile.

How to Run

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".
2. Extract the downloaded source code file.
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
5. Create a new database naming "studentinfosystem".
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as "studentinfosystem.sql" located inside the extracted source code folder.
7. Browse the Simple Student Information System in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/studentinfosystem
