hi all. does anybody know how to make a trial and registration of the project you made in vb6.0? if you all don't mind, i'd like to ask some questions regarding this matter.
first of all, i'd lik to ask help on how to code a project that would get the computer name and ip address of a certain computer where you want to install your app to prevent them from multiple installation.
next is, how am i supposed to code that project to be a trial version and it would be based on the computer name and date.
and lastly, how am i going to code a project (as a software registration system) that would prompt the user to register his/her trial software if it already expires.
can anyone lend me some ideas or if you don't mind, a sample project or code on how to make this kind of thing? am not a newbie in vb programming but this matter really got my interest in using vb6. any help would be much appreciated. i'd be glad to accept help from masters.
