Uber Car: First Driverless Vehicle

The debate on which can do more, a human or a technology, has been a common notion for centuries. The humans as being higher than the technologies always come more powerful as technologies can't operate themselves without the supervision of humans.
But do you know that one company has already tried coming up with cars which has a unique driver-less feature? It completely appears unrealistic and one would surely get to question how could that be possible most especially without hands holding on the steering wheel.
As of the present, one company tries to make it come into success though there would still be a human intervention in the technology.
Recently reported in Livescience, Uber is coming up into producing its Volvo XC90 which goes with numerous cameras, lasers, sensors, and GPS components. Nevertheless, it still needs a human driver to take charge on certain matters despite its automatic nature.
Further, the report stated that it would be made available for shoppers in downtown Pittsburgh starting later of August 2016. Pittsburgh holds a ground of Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute which really gives an eye into producing autonomous vehicles.
Surely, if this goes through smoothly, there is a big possibility that world markets would consider this new mode of vehicles.
